Creative Director and Photography Expert, Meet Becca!

IMG_7122CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERT, MEET BECCA!

Follow the yellow brick road to meet the wizards behind the curtain at Accelity! We might not practice magic, but we can make content appear in the blink of an eye. In this blog series, we will feature one of our talented team members so you can see what we are all about. This month's star is Becca French!

1. What is the coolest thing about working at Accelity?

Working at Accelity Marketing is an eternal learning opportunity. It’s amazing to see how other people work day-to-day and get to learn from their experiences.

2. What is your hometown known most for?

I’m from Menomonee Falls and was a punk-rock kid that ventured to the big city to go to shows at the Rave a lot in high school. So I’d say the biggest claim to fame for me growing up was that the drummer from Fall Out Boy, Andy Hurley, lived down the street. I ran into him at Noodles once and got him to sign a napkin. It was as awkward as you'd imagine.

3. What is your guilty pleasure tv/music/movie?

Gilmore Girls. Always and forever. I just recently rewatched all 7 seasons (thanks Netflix!) and could watch it just about anytime, anywhere and not get sick of it.

4. Where would you like to see Accelity in 4 years?

4 years? I can’t plan my life for next week! But it would be amazing to see Accelity continue to double each year, until we’re so big, we get acquired or maybe open a second location? Dream big. Work hard. Who knows.

5. What is your favorite movie quote?

That'll do pig. That'll do.

6. What is something you are proud of with your work?

See answer 1. I’m constantly learning the longer I work in this industry, so I’m quite proud of the progress I’ve made the last 6 years in graphic design. For someone that was a Journalism major and Photography and Entrepreneurship minors, Graphic Design was always just a hobby for me. It just proves that you don’t have to stick with what you know to be successful in something.

7. What is an attainable life goal you have for yourself in 10 years?

Like I said, I don’t tend to plan that far ahead. I like to live in the day-to-day, but a major dream of mine since college has been to live abroad, London is the dream. Maybe more realistically now, just sell my house and move somewhere new to experience life outside Wisconsin. I’d love to live in Boston or Seattle!
